CEO: Asia Focused Gold Explorer

The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the unique requirements of the mining industry.

We are working with a very well-financed exploration company that is supported by a strong board and focused on under-explored areas of Asia in an effort to unearth the next big gold discovery.    They are seeking a prominent CEO to guide them on their journey to discovery.

Though grassroots in nature, our Client is looking for a CEO with the right mix of deal making savvy to continue to find high-potential opportunities in the region while leading a very active exploration campaign across their portfolio.  They’re looking for a CEO with great connections to The Street that has a successful track record in methodically growing junior resource companies through both discovery and M&A.

The ideal candidate will have a background and familiarity in operating throughout Asia in addition to bringing with them a defensible track record at the helm of other prominent stories.  We have no preconceived notions with respect to the profile of the successful applicant: it could be those with a background in geology, engineering or capital markets, among other profiles.  The focus is on finding a “big name” that has a track record of success in similar roles, experience operating in the region and that can leverage their network to create opportunities for the company and excitement in the markets.
