Junior Geologist

The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused exclusively on the unique requirements of the mining industry.

We are currently accepting applications on behalf of our client, a well financed, private company whose key projects are large Porphyries and Skarns in BC and Peru along with Epithermal Au-Ag projects.

Reporting to the Vice President Exploration, we are seeking candidates that can operate field projects, including drilling in B.C. for the summer and then can get involved in the foreign projects over the winter months.

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting in the exploration planning, field work, geological interpretation and data management (including deposit modeling) to derive drill targets.

The successful candidate will hold a B.Sc.in Geology 2-5 years of exploration experience. Proficient in the planning and execution of diamond drilling programs, our ideal candidate will also have previous experience working on Porphyry and Skarn deposits.
